Grace Rose Fiala

Grace was born on December 5, 1928 to the late Anthony and Rafaella (DeTrano) Manzo in Brooklyn, NY. She worked as an R.N. for many years at Sleepy Hollow Medical Group as well as Phelps Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her loving children, Judy Fiala, Susan Glashoff, her husband John and Edward J. Fiala; her adoring grandchildren, TJ, Brianne, Robert, Matthew, Amy, Johnny, Erich and Caroline and her devoted sister Marie Hogan. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward Francis Fiala on September 10, 2014.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 4-7 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, November 10th at St. Patrick’s Church in Verplanck, NY. Cremation Services will be private.
