Margaret "Peggy" Finn

Peggy was born in Manhattan on January 18, 1928. She married the love of her life, John “Jack” Finn, on August 12, 1950. Together they raised their three children, Marilyn, Danny and Debbie. They celebrated their 63rd anniversary before Jack died on October 14, 2013.

Peggy was an active member of the ‘Golden Eagles’ Senior club in Ossining, and a volunteer at Phelps Memorial Hospital. She was a lifelong bookkeeper, who retired just four years ago. She enjoyed cruising, and kept a very busy social calendar, which included yoga, in addition to her Senior club, and volunteer activities.

She was lovingly known as ‘Nana’ to her five grandsons, (Ryan, Patrick (Melanie), Sean, Christopher and Kevin) and their countless friends.

Peggy is survived by her children; Marilyn Leonard (Richard), Danny (Kathy), Debbie Considine (John), her five grandsons and her sister Marilyn Cooke.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 3-8PM at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Wednesday, December 27th at St. Christopher’s Church in Buchanan NY. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor.
