Patricia A. Duffy

Patricia was born in New York City to the late Patrick and Jane (Smith) McGourty. She was a longtime resident of Croton-on-Hudson. She worked and retired from Croton Watch after many years of service. Patricia was an active member of the Croton Senior Citizens Club and faithful parishioner of Holy Name of Mary Church. She loved boating and spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband Vincent J. Duffy loving children, Edward (Liz) Duffy, Patrick (Mary)Duffy and Jane (Christopher) Kotalik; adoring grandchildren, Eric, Catherine, Shane, Claire, Kerry, Brian, Aidan, Ava, Nina and James and her caring sister-in-law, Joan McGourty. She is also survived by many devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Patricia was predeceased by her son John V. Duffy and her brother Thomas McGourty.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, July 24, 2015 at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton-on-Hudson. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
