The Low’s were one of the five founding families of The Keon Center in 1954. Walter worked at The Keon Center for over 20 years and attended many workshops and events there. He lived in his family home in Montrose for 60 years and went to Bethel Nursing & Rehab Center this spring.
Although he endured many adversities within his 69 years of life, he always had a smile for everyone. He proved silently that he was a warrior and provided everyone with inspiration. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 11:00 am at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Montrose Point Rd., Montrose, NY. Donations in Walter’s name may be sent to The Keon Center, P.O. Box 147, Montrose, NY 10548.
