She departed this world peacefully on March 31, 2025, at the age of 65, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family and friends in Moreno Valley, California.
Estela was born on May 1, 1959, in Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines to Agustine and Emilia Bicera. She was the youngest of eight siblings, and leaves behind her beloved brothers, Avelino Bicera and Leonardo Bicera.
At the age of 17, Estela embarked on a brave new chapter in her life, migrating to the United States with the support of her brother, Frank, and his wife, Sol Bicera.
She was a devoted wife to Osias Castrence, loving mother to her daughters, Helengrace, Christy Leonor and son, Leo Conrad. Estela was an even prouder grandmother to her two grandchildren, Faith and Jio Rey.
Estela embraced the blessings of everyday life, nurturing her garden where she would pray and make rosaries with her dog, Honey. She enjoyed watching Korean dramas, shopping and going to church and family gatherings, where she would share her gifts and talents through cooking her authentic Filipino dishes and desserts.
Rooted in her unwavering Catholic faith, she was a woman of quiet devotion, attending mass daily, volunteering her time with her friends and serving mass as an usher at St. Christopher Parish.
"May Estela's soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace."
Please join us in honoring Estela’s remarkable life.
