Ladondrous (Don) Green was loving, kind and intelligent. He inspired everyone around him by his strength and strong faith in God. A loyal family man who put family first, always. He taught us all by his own actions how to handle day-to-day life, "one day at a time". Don would stop for the one person who needed to eat or who was homeless and downtrodden, giving whatever money he had to help someone out.
Raised Baptist at home with his family, as a married couple we became born again at a Billy Graham crusade. Don was a US Marine, giving 8 years to his country, a Vietnam vet during the pullout of the Vietnam War and after. He loved being stationed overseas and on the big ships. After discharge, he became employed at the US Postal service for 35 years.
He became active as an APWU Member, he was a shop steward and arbitrator always advocating for those in labor. Don then "retired to re-fire" as he said, he then went to law school and passed the Baby Bar Exam. At that point, he realized he wanted to be an educator instead. He went back to school for a dual degree as an educator. He absolutely loved teaching, especially History. Teaching autistic children was also was something, he loved doing, and they loved his beard!
We traveled to Europe, Greece, the Middle East, Israel and Canada, and we loved cruising as well. We traveled throughout the US doing Union Work as well and he loved to fly. He had no fear. A devout messianic Jew, he loved the Lord Jesus and steered his family in Spiritual things as well.
Don devoured the word of God like Manna from Heaven. His hobbies were many; he loved music of most genres, mainly Jazz, Rhythm and Blues and gospel reading and learning new things is what he thrived on. Playing Music as well as singing were his forms of relaxation. Self-taught to play five instruments Don sang in his choir and loved singing Gospel.
Surviving family are wife Rebecca, Daughter Alicia Lenae, Grandsons Caylen and Timothy, Granddaughters Adayzha and Sierra. He also had five surviving grandchildren from his daughter Sharonda, who is now deceased.

Ladondrous, we know that you are safe with Yeshua now, and dancing in the heavenly streets of gold as you did in your dreams. I am sure you are flying over the heavenliness looking down at family and friends. And until we see you again, fly on sweetheart and remember to meet me at the gate of heaven.
