Carlven Coleman

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, Louisiana.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his five sons, Carlven Coleman, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada, Eric (Belva) Chapman, Jr. of Youngsville, Louisiana, Carlven C. Chapman and Brodie Chapman, both of Morgan City, Louisiana, Tremayne Coleman of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Monica (Emmanuel) Liggins of Las Vegas, Nevada and Learita Coleman of Denham Springs, Louisiana; three brothers, George (Nelvin) Coleman of Patterson, Louisiana, Marshall (Thelma) Coleman of Missouri City, Texas, and Harry (Denise) Coleman of Franklin, Louisiana; two sisters, Linda (Ivory) Johnson and Sheila Coleman, both of Franklin, Louisiana; fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, along with a host of relatives and friends.

Carlven was preceded in death by his loving wife, Theresa "NuNu" Coleman; his parents Eany and Emmadelle Coleman; his siblings, Ernest Coleman and Taylor "TC" Coleman, Alfred Coleman, Larry Coleman, Leslie Coleman-Holman and Lucille Coleman-Walker.
