Larry Griffin Sr.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Celebration of LIfe at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his companion, Vanessa Calais of Patterson, Louisiana; two sons, Larry Griffin, Jr. of Morgan City, Louisiana and Ja'Harry'us Griffin of Patterson, Louisiana; his daughter, Makiyla Griffin of Patterson, Louisiana; his sister, Patricia (Ronald) Bennett of Patterson, Louisiana; one grandson, Larry Griffin, III of Patterson, Louisiana; his cousin who was more like a brother, Clifton Williams; his two best friends, Jonathan "Tony" Smith and Jonathan Brown; along with a host of family and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan Griffin, Jr. and Marjorie Gray Griffin; his siblings, Harry Lee Griffin, Nathan Griffin, III, Roxie Ann Dugar, and Clarence Griffin; his niece, Crystal Dugar; his great niece, Sharday Dugar; his great nephew, Derrick Dugar.
