He leaves to cherish his memories, his longtime companion of over 40 years, Mattie Nerve of Patterson, Louisiana; his stepdaughter, Alexis Nerve of Patterson, Louisiana; a stepson, Key'Andre Polidore of Patterson, Louisiana; his siblings, Phyllis Guidry of Houma, Louisiana, Bruce Herbert Augustine and Wayne Joseph Williams, both of Patterson, Louisiana, Wanda Parks of Houston, Texas, Norma West of Beaumont, Texas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
"Cornbread" was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Williams and Lillian Brown Williams; his siblings, Billie Joyce Smith, Willie Williams, Jr., Celia Elaine Grogan, Malcolm Jerome Williams, Sr., and Kerney Jean Hall; two nephews, Bruce Augustine, Jr. and Kyle Steven Smith.
