Rose Ethel Morrison

Born on June 18, 1938, Rose Ethel Morrison was a resident of Morgan City, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Siracusaville Recreation Center 1110 Grace Street Morgan City, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum Section.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 71 years, Raymond Morrison of Morgan City, Louisiana; two daughters, Kim (Kevin) Barard of Lafayette, Louisiana, Monica (Tony) Gibson of Baldwin, Louisiana; two brother, Maxie (Linda) O'Brien, Jr. of Verdunville, Louisiana and Gary (Rose) O'Brien, Sr. of Lafayette, Louisiana; two godchildren, Vivian Jack and Denise Beltran; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; four step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; along with a host of relatives and friends.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Maxie O'Brien, Sr. and Lillian O'Brien; her stepmother, Genevieve O'Brien; her sisters, Ellen Rae Woods (Grady Woods), Mary Shaw (Henry Shaw), Anna Carter (Jimmy Carter), Edward Robinson (Oralene Robinson), and Carlos O'Brien (Amelia O'Brien).
