Manuel Francisco Coronado

On August 17, 2013, Manuel Coronado-Arce passed into the arms of Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 83. He fought a courageous battle against Parkinson’s disease, congestive heart failure, emphysema all the while retaining his pride and dignity. A native of Guatemala of Spanish heritage, he was the son of Manuel and Mercedes Coronado, and brother (brother-in-law) to Concha (John) Edmundson, Mercedes (Steve) Negoesco, Ana Maria (Bill) Wilkinson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a loving father of five: Paulette Waters, Manuel Coronado, Michele Renard, Mike Coronado, and Francesca Coronado. He was a father-in-law to Steve Renard, Hannelore Coronado, Gloria Flores, and Bryan Barrera. A grandfather (great-grandfather) to Christine Carrisosa & Mike McAtee, Stephanie Carrisosa (Jaida), Anthony Flores (Anthony, Alexis), Larry Babli, Yvette Smith (Brooks, Hannah, Olivia), Richard and Linda Renard (Michael), Robert and Natalie Renard. An accomplished inventor and a loyal employee to the Hewlett Packard Company for over thirty years. He was a devoted Catholic, a loyal husband, a great friend, and his most important role was Dad. A Funeral Mass shall be celebrated on Saturday, August 31, 2013, at 10am at St. Catherine Church, 17400 Peak Avenue in Morgan Hill. A celebration of life shall follow.
