She is preceded in death by her daughter, Erin Brophy; mother, Lucille Bell Haltzman; father, Merle Leroy Steeves; and her siblings Sue Burke, Julia Gonzalez, David Steeves.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 56 years Harold Brophy, her children Rodney Brophy, Colleen Edelen, Tera Brophy, Monica Williams, her sister Sherri Porquis, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness on September 30th, 1972 and was associated with the Morganton South Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1663 Jamestown Road, Morganton, NC 28655. She loved the ministry, and loved helping those around her especially teaching them bible truths.
