Cody Vance DeHaven

Cody Vance DeHaven, age 42, of Valdese, North Carolina passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024. Cody was born on April 15, 1982 to Geoffrey Blair DeHaven and the late Patricia Ann Terry DeHaven in Fort Lauderdale, Fl.

Cody was a lover of life and his family. He enjoyed all types of music, fishing, working with his father on cars, and playing guitar. Cody was a generous, kind and loving soul. Cody was the "life of the party".

Along with his mother, Cody is preceded in death by an uncle, Larry Ryder DeHaven, and an aunt, Gail Lynn Britton.

Those left behind to cherish Cody's memory include his father, Geoffrey Blair DeHaven of Ronceverte, WV; a sister, Amber Clair DeHaven and her fiance, Ronald Jesse Hudson of Valdese; a brother, Tristan Patrick DeHaven and his fiancee, Miranda Brooke McKee of Hudson; one nephew, Nathaniel Wayne Hill; two nieces, Emilee Paige Hill and Patricia Maaryn Storee Canham; and his longtime girlfriend, Lori Ann Bailey. Cody is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Receiving of family and friends will be held at 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2024 in the chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton.
