Douglas McCoy Johnson

Doug accepted Christ as his Savior. His heavenly father looked down on him Tuesday, June 29, 2021 and that he was tired of suffering, so he sent his angels to bring him home.

Along with this parents Alexander and Ruby Johnson, Doug was preceded in death by his wife Irene Johnson, daughters; Michelle and Bonita Johnson, also Terri Perkins, brother Robert Johnson, and a great-grandson Jecobian McMillian.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons; Douglas Harshaw (Kelly), Dwight Johnson (Joyce), Albert Hill (Brandy), Casey Hill (Cassandra), and Jarvis Logan, brothers; Bobby Johnson (Valerie), Stanley Johnson (Pat), Danny Johnson (Dorothy), and Oshea Johnson, one sister; Dephne Johnson, and one sister in law Mary Johnson, along surviving are a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren. As well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 05, 2021 in the chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home.

The Johnson Family has entrusted Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton with arrangements.
