Evelyn Bristol Morrow

She received her formal education through Corpening School of Hartland and Olive Hill High School.

At an early age, she formed a love of Christ and was baptized at Hartland Church of God. Later in life, she became an active member of Green Street Presbyterian Church.

Always a caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Evelyn departed this life peacefully on December 23, 2024, surrounded by her son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Edward H. Morrow; her son, Paul Michaux Jr.; brother, Lloyd A. Bristol Jr.; and sisters Raye Bristol and Faye Ervin.

She is lovingly survived by her son: Fredrick A. Michaux (Trina) of Portsmouth, VA.; her grandchildren: Nikki Michaux and Paul Michaux of Morganton, NC and Tony Michaux (Jasmine) of Portsmouth, VA; six great grandchildren: Anthony, Mariah, Cameron, Adam, Mari and Maya Michaux; her sister: Rosa Freeman; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Fond memories of her life will be cherished by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Green Street Presbyterian Church at 1:00 pm with Pastor Marla F Patchel and Pastor Wesley Hendrix officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00 to 12:45 pm at the church. Burial will follow the service at Hartland Church of God Cemetery.
