

For the past several years she and her husband, Wayne Justus, have made their home in Black Mountain with their two canine friends, Precious and Bella.
A daughter of the late Leslie and Helen Player Farfour, Helen was born September 26, 1950 in Morganton and was graduated from Morganton High School.
She received her B.A. degree from Sacred Heart College (now Belmont Abbey College) and spent her professional life as an elementary school teacher. She taught in Gastonia and at Rutherford College Elementary School, but spent the majority of her teaching career at Drexel Elementary School.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Player Harrill of Solana Beach, CA; two grandsons, Chase Harrill and Blake Harrill, both of Solana Beach, CA; a brother, Leslie Farfour (Cheryl); a sister, Freida Brown (Thomas), and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Neil Farfour of Aiken, SC.
A Graveside Service for Helen Alexander Justus will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2022 at Forest Hill Cemetery.
The Justus Family has entrusted Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton with arrangements.
