Henry Eric Robinson

Henry “Eric” Robinson, age 46, of Morganton, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Frye Regional Medical Center. He was born May 20, 1971 in Burke County to Henry Robinson and Sarah Elizabeth Peterson Nichols, both of Morganton. He is preceded in death by a brother, Cassius Peterson.

Eric was employed with Foothills Correctional Institution as a correctional officer and part-time with O’reilly auto parts store and was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his daughter, Erica Neco Wilkerson of Glen Alpine; three brothers, Ronald Robinson, Donald Robinson, and Larry Peterson, all of Morganton; two sisters, Yulanda Campbell of Fayetteville and Andrea Thomas of Taylorsville; a special nephew, Jawon Robinson; and his fiancé, Jennifer Lowery of Morganton.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Max Bristol, Reverend Hebert Carter, and Bishop Aaron Hooper. Interment will follow at Avery-Fullwood family cemetery in Morganton. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Buff, Tyrone Shufford, Cedric Williams, Bo Hawkins, Donald Robinson, and Ronald Robinson.
