James Lyle Griffis

He was born on October 10, 1946, in Boone County, WV, to the late Welton Thomas Griffis and Mary Frances Green.

In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by wife, Pamela Jane Griffis, brother, Bill Griffis and sister, Loretta Petry.

Those left to cherish James memory are his children, Victoria Josette Griffis and wife Misty Ann Biggerstaff, James Lyle Griffis II and wife Annmarie, Amanda Mary Frances Adkins and wife Kimberly Adkins, siblings; Orce Atlee Griffis, Garnet Clay, Joan Green, Alfreda Bishop, grandchildren; Rebecca Ashton Dillon, David Matthew Dillon and wife Brittany, Jonathon Edwards and wife Kim, Zackary Biggerstaff and wife Krysta, James Lyle Griffis III, Amelia Ashton Griffis, Caleb Marshall Griffis, Courtney Jane Webb and fiancé Zackary Keith Hensley, Livionna Renee Haydon and eight great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Kirksey Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at 2:00pm.
