Janice Elaine Ferguson

Mrs. Janice Elaine Ferguson, age 60, of Glen Alpine, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Janice was born to the late Junior McCanless and Edith Hensley McCanless on August 4, 1957 in Burnsville, NC

Janice was a member of Calvin Heights Baptist Church. She loved softball, spending time with friends and family and being there for those in need. Janice is a former owner of Half Rock Café and Janice and Jakes Diner. To her, "Family Was Her World". Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Those left behind to cherish Janice's memory include husband, Walter Ferguson; a daughter, Teresa Lowman; and 3 grandchildren, DJ Pierce, Brandon Lingerfelt and Leeah Lowman. Her family and friends was her world. She loved softball, spending time with friends and family and being there for those in need. She is former owner of Half rock café and Janice and Jakes diner.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Lowman officiating. The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
