Joey Wayne Messer

Joey was born to the late Edward Russell Messer, Sr., and Emma Jean Rogers Messer on November 04, 1963, in Haywood, Co.

Joey worked in manufacturing as a mixer at Environmental Inks. During his life Joey was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and airhead hunting, he was also a gun enthusiast. Joey was of the Christain Faith.

Those left to cherish his memories include his children, Caleb Messer (Samantha), Joshua Levi Messer, and Emily Causby (Roger), grandchildren; Sean Gracen Messer, Eli Joseph Messer, Leland Reed Messer, Malorie Marie Messer, Cailyn Marie Messer, Yatziri Naomi Garcia, and Kaihlani Xamilet Garcia, siblings; Edward Russell Messer, Jr., Debbie Messer Coleman, and Sherri Ilene Messer. Also surviving are 3 nieces and 6 nephews.

Memorial Services for Joey Wayne Messer will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022, in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton at 12 p.m. Pastor Alan King, Officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations please be made in the family honor to help with funeral expenses.

The Messer Family has entrusted Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton with arrangements.
