Louise Burton Peeler

Born December 29, 1921 in Lincoln County, Louise was a daughter of the late John William and Kimmie Leatherman Burton. Louise was a member of Asheville Street Baptist Church and had worked in the textile industry for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Peeler, Sr., a son, John W. Peeler, Sr., one sister and two brothers.

Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Ralph Peeler, Jr. and wife Terrie of Morganton; two grandchildren, Ashley Lambert and husband Matt, and John Peeler, Jr. and Izabela Pablo Pedro all of Morganton; two great grandchildren, Lane Lambert and Jade Peeler; Louise was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Peeler will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Hill Cemetery with Reverend Doug Goforth officiating.

Memorials can be made to the Asheville Street Baptist Church.
