Meredith Leighanne Eller

Meredith Leighanne Carpenter was born January 8, 1980, in Hickory, NC to the late Harry E. Carpenter III and Reberta R. Cooper. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 9, 2026. Meredith loved her job working at Lincoln County DSS, as a social worker and supervisor. She was a faithful member of Church 180 for the past five years.

Meredith was proceeded in death by her mother, Roberta R. Cooper; grandmother, Adele Carpenter; grandfather, Harry Carpenter Jr.; and her uncle Steven Carpenter. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Timothy R. Eller of Morganton, NC; father, Harry Carpenter III (Flora) of Morganton; brother, Harry Carpenter IV (Montana) of CA; aunt, Phyllis Cyphers (Don) of CA; aunt, Susan Carpenter of CA; niece, Mailak Carpenter and nephew, Erok Carpenter both of CA.

The family will receive friends will be Saturday, January 17, 2026, at First Assembly of God from 3-4:00 pm, with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 pm in the sanctuary of First Assembly of God, 1955 US Hwy 70, Morganton, NC 28655.
