Michael Scott Skelton

Michael Scott Skelton, age 41, of Lenoir, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 due to a car accident. Michael was born the son of Randy Keith Skelton and Martha Mayne Stephenson on February 19, 1982 in Gaston County, NC.

Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing, swimming and going out on the boat with his sister Linda Skelton. He also enjoyed shooting pool, sometime for fun and others for money.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Randy Keith Skelton, Sr.; a brother, Randy Kieth Skelton, Jr.; and a son, Joseph Lee Skelton.

Those left behind to cherish Michael's memory include his mother and stepfather, Martha and Clinton Stephenson of York, SC.; three sisters, Linda Skelton (Tommy) of Lenoir, Ashley Walters of Lowell and Erica "EJ" Johnson of York; three brothers, Ricky (Morgan) Hamblin of Franklin, VA; Michael (Heather) Barrett of York; and Michael and David Stephenson of Lakeport, FL; his stepmother, Michele Skelton; and a special friend, Rebecca "Becky" Kirksey. Michael is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Services will be held privately.
