Ruth was a member of St. John Church of God where was gave her life back to the Lord and was baptized on November 24, 2012.
In addition to her parents Ruth is preceded in death by her grandparents Charles and Ruth Forney; uncles; Jospeh Carson, Sr., Jospeh Hemphill, and Charles Forney, Jr.
Those left to Cherish her memory are her husband; Cassius Tate, daughters; Dionna McGimpsey (Grace) and Shanekqua Forney (Javon), grandchildren; Naryanna McGimpsey, Serenity Shuford, Paris Conley, Mari Conley, and Italy Conley, sister; Tonya Quarles, stepmom; Francine Quarles, mother-in-law; Ollie Tate, brother-in-law Tony Tate, sister-in-law; Aketa Tate, aunts; Betty Carson, Beverly (Lee) Carson, Charlene Hemphill, Marylin (Jerry) Carson, 10 cousins and a host of nieces nephews other relatives and friends.
