Sharon Morrow, 53, of Morganton, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Saturday, June 30, 2012, while at her residence. Born February 8, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Willa Mae Woody. In addition to her mother, Ms. Morrow was also preceded in death by her sister, Marian “Bab” Coleman and her son-in-law, Darius Silver.
She will lovingly be remembered by a son, Jordon Burleson, of the home;
A daughter, Amy Silver, of Morganton;
Two brothers, James Lyon & wife, Michelle, of Morganton and Rodney Woody, of Drexel;
A sister, Rhonda Lyon, of Greenville, SC;
Three grandchildren, Brooklyn Burleson, Kenzie & Kayden Silver;
And two nieces, Clarrisa Lyon and Mercedes Hughes will also lovingly remember her.
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 PM, Wednesday, July 4, 2012, in the chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home, Morganton, with the Reverend Billy Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
