Wilma Jean (Siler) Carson

Along with her parents, Wilma is preceded in death by her husband of over 45 years, William G. Carson, Jr.; three sisters, Mamie Jeffery, Margaret Chandler and Kate West; and six brothers, Walter, Ed, Clyde, Jim, Albert and Charlie Siler.

Those left behind to cherish Wilma's memory include two sons, Stephon Carson (Tawanna) of Morganton and Jermaine Carson of Marion; a goddaughter, Selena Avery-Blackmon; three grandchildren, Tyanna Carson of Morganton, Dorren Carson (Paige) of Morganton and Tre' Carson of Silverdale, WA; three great grandchildren, Zaydrin Hausley, Rhylan and Oaklyn Corpening, all of Morganton; and two sisters, Maggie O'Neil of Hickory and Pearl Miller of Marion. Wilma is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 1:55 pm on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Marion. A "Homegoing Service" will follow for Wilma at 2:00 PM.
