She was preceded in death by her husband: Carl Ellis; parents Albert and Edna Burroughs; brother Rick Burroughs and brother-in-law: Jay W. Drinnon.
Betty is survived by her daughter: Vanessa Burrell and grandson: Greyson Burrell; brother: James (Patsy) Burroughs of Rowlett, TX; sisters: Pat Drinnon of Johnson City and Sherry Noe of Memphis. Along with several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a special thank you to The Heritage Center and Gentiva Hospice.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, Feb. 2, 2026 in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
