Brownie was so excited to reach the "and one-half" that family celebrated with a cake. She was a devout Christian, who loved to read her Bible and play Yahtzee with anyone that came to visit. She was a kind-hearted soul who never met a stranger, and was loved by all.
Brownie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Delbert "Tiny" Nichols, and her daughter, Deborah Ruth Ramsey. She is survived by her two sons Jarve William "Bill" Nichols, and Delbert "Dale" Wayne Nichols; her grandchildren, David (Jennifer) Nichols, Sharon (Jamie) McDaniel, Ruth Nichols, Deanna (Edward Alger) Baxley, Dustin Nichols, and Ryan Ramsey; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Baxley, Leesha (Josh) Pritting, Sara Nichols, Samantha McDaniel, Hope Nichols, Destiny Nichols, Aubrey Nichols, Taylor Baxley, Allissa Nichols, Dyllan Alger, Ava Nichols, and Annelia Nichols; great-great-grandchild Azariah Pritting, and many other loved ones.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Fairview Cemetery in Tazewell.
