BRUCE DANIEL CARMON, age 81 of Bean Station, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Opal Carr Carmon; brother, Earl Carmon; nephew, Larry Carmon and grandsons, Landon and Conley Jennings. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary K, Carmon; son, Gary (Lee Ann) Carmon; daughters, Judy (Jack) May and Vonda (Jeff) Jennings; 4 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 30, in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Pastor Gary Carmon, Rev. Darrell Alder and Rev. Harold Noe officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1 in Mary’s Chapel Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary’s Chapel Cemetery Fund in care of Lois Carmon.
