Chevy Eddie McIntosh, age 33, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Eddie” McIntosh; grandparents, Edith and Jack Daniels, and Ruth and George McIntosh Jr.; and uncles, Johnny Daniels and George McIntosh III.
Chevy is survived by his mother and step-father, Jewel and Roy Helton; brother and girlfriend, Gary “Goober” McIntosh and Angie Jones; step-brother and wife, Danny and Sandra Helton; girlfriend and children, Brandy Marcum, Holden and Coal Frederick; several other relatives; and a lot of good friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at Shepherd Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. on Friday for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening prior to the services.
