Clara Everhart Dolinger, age 95, of the Persia Community, formerly of West Jefferson, NC, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Dolinger; parents, James and Eva Everhart; brothers, Woodrow, Andrew, William Vance, James Jr., Ralph and Joe Everhart; and sisters, Lucy Everhart, Georgia Everhart, Elizabeth Rush and Jackie Everhart.
She is survived by one son, Harold Dolinger of Wilmington DE; one daughter, Carole Dolinger of Hickory NC; two grandchildren, Kevin (Kristin) Dolinger and Erica Dolinger; great-grandchildren, Braeydn, Leo, Trent, Abigail and Noah; brother, Albert Everhart; several nieces and nephews, including Billy Everhart and Tina Everhart Justice of Rogersville; and many special “little” friends.
Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Persia Methodist Church Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service. Rev. Steve Justice will officiate.
Services are under the direction of Stubblefield Funeral Home.
