Claud D. Hawkins, age 79, of Bean Station, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his home. He was a member of Morristown Baptist Tabernacle. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Ruth Hawkins.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Kathy Hawkins; daughter, Jennifer Hawkins; son, Jeremy Hawkins; grandchildren, Cody, Megan, Gracie, Cayson and Dawson; great-grandchildren, Ada and Zeke; and sister, Mary (Greg) Howell.
Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 2:45 p.m. for a graveside service. Rev. Gref Howell and Rev. Danny Whetstone will officiate. Military honors will be rendered by VFW Post #5266 and TN National Guard.
