

Debra McCoin, 58 of Bean Station, formerly of Pikeville, KY, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Duke Medical Center in NC. She was born March 3, 1957 in Pike County to the late Sam & Oma “Clevinger” Potter. Debra worked 30 years as a hairdresser in her own salon in Pikeville, KY. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clayton Potter & Dorse Bentley. Debra is survived by her loving husband, Clyde McCoin; her children, Cory (Jennifer) Raschella of Hawaii, Clay (Rebecca) Raschella of Sumpter, SC, Jeff McCoin, Letitia Jones, Teri Jones, Stacy McKnight; four grandchildren, Kolen, Aden, Ashlan & Addison; one brother, Jimmy Darrel (Barbara) Potter of FL.; and sister, Elaine Johnson of TN. The family will receive friends at Thacker Memorial Chapel Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. with services at 7:00 p.m. with Tommy England officiating. The visitation for Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 5 – 7:00 p.m. will be held at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers are: Mason McCoin, John Johnson, Earl Gibson, Tommy Hall, Henry Johnson, Ron Campbell & Talma Norwood.. Burial will follow at the First Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home of Pikeville, KY. With local arrangements handled by Stubblefield Funeral Home.
