Dorothy Sue Gulley Kinley, age 87, of Morristown, passed away at the Heritage Center on Thursday, October 17, 2013. She retired from the Hamblen Co. Sheriff’s Dept., where she worked as a cook in the jail. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Gulley and Charles “Bud” Kinley Sr.; daughter, Donna Burlingame; parents, Roland and Lena Parvin; and nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children, Brenda Laster, Ralph Dean (Nancy) Gulley, Rose Marie Gregg, and Charles (Karen) Kinley Jr.; grandchildren, Kim (John) Long, Ronnie Burlingame, Shawnna Smith, Dorothy Burlingame, and Brad McNabb; great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Tori, Brice, Lakin, Michelle, Skyler, and JJ; great-great-grandson, Brayden; son-in-law, Jerry Burlingame; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. to go in procession to Courtney Cemetery for a 12 p.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
