Elaine Dover, age 82, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Tennova North Medical Center. She was a member of Roe Junction Missionary Baptist Church. Preceding her in death was her husband, Harold Dover; parents, Russell and Mary Poole; brothers, Bill Thompkins, Dick Poole, Russell Poole, Donald Poole; sisters, Thelma Girtain, Leona Keen, Jeannette Deen; stepson, Ricky Dover; and stepdaughter, Wanda Dover.
Survivors include sons, Gary Dover and Ronnie Dover; grandchildren, Tiffany Dover and LaTonya Lovin; great-grandsons, Kaleb and Landon Lovin; brother, Pete (Sissy) Poole; special friend, Karen Dover; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Greg Ellison and Rev. Odell Davidson officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Thursday, May 20 at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service.
