Ella Elizabeth Hooker

Ella Elizabeth [ Coffey ] Hooker age 85 of Whitesburg. She was born on May 1, 1925. Received the greatest Christmas gift of all for she went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 25, 2010. She was also a member of Catherine Nenny Missionary Baptist Church.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her loving husband J.D. Hooker, daughter - in law Julie Hooker, father and mother Joel and Levena Coffey, [ Brothers ] Vestel, Joe and Harless Coffey, [ Sisters ] Ardel Pratt, Sarah Warwick, Rosea Lee Duncan, Clair Elliot.

Survivors include: Daughter Levena {Ronnie} Lawson of Whitesburg, Sons, Joel Hooker of Mooresburg, Donnie { Cheryle} Hooker of Morristown, and step - son Carroll { Diane } Roberts of Knob Noster Mo. [ 8 ] grandchildren, [16 ] great grandchild, [ 1 ] great great grandchild and a host of nieces , nephews and friends.

The family wants to thank all the nurses and C N A’s at the Morristown Hamblen Hospital – Three and Four South, the Heritage Center and the following Doctor’s – Dr. Tan, Dr. Majia and Dr. Moran.

The Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the service to follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Ricky Witt and Rev. Gary Biggs officiating. The family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 for an 11 a.m. interment in Bethesda Cemetery beside her husband.
