ELSIE MAE TRENT DELPH, age 92 of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at her residence. She was a member of Kingswood Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bascom Delph; parents, Roy and Nellie Trent; sisters, Wilma Boyd and Mary Lawson; and brother, Frank Trent.
She is survived by her daughters, Anita Hyde of Springboro, OH, Faye Martin of Morristown, Barbara (Jim) Hussey of Alpharetta, GA; sons, Gary Delph of Whitesburg, Gene Delph of Gulf Shores, AL; grandchildren, Joey (Peyton) Hyde, Brian Hyde, Zach (Nicole) Hyde, Jerry (Jennie) Martin, Jennifer Martin, Christy (Kenny) Richardson, Summer (Brad) Peters, Stephen (Christy) Tranor, and Taylor Sakata Delph; 20 great grandchildren; brothers, Clifford Trent, Roy Trent Jr, and Wayne Trent; sister, Imogene (Howard) Harville; brother-in-law, Joe Boyd; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stubblefield Funeral Home.
