ETTA L. WOLFE, age 87 of Morristown, went to be with the Lord at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of Nina Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her late husband of 56 years, Clyde H. Wolfe; son, Kenneth Paul Wolfe; great granddaughter, Jessica Jones and grandson, Jeff Wolfe.
She is survived by her sons, Alvin Wolfe, David Wolfe and special friend, Joyce Bertrang; Stanley (Kim) Wolfe . Daughters, Loella Sumpter and Janice (John) Houseright. Grandsons; Chuck Sumpter and special friend, Sherry Hodge, Logan Sumpter and special friend, Melissa Dalton, Danny (Wendy) Houseright, David (Melissa) Houseright, Lynn Wolfe, Gary Wolfe and Clint Wolfe. Granddaughter; Julie (Arnie) Wilder, Angie Wolfe and Marti Wolfe and special Friend, Rick. Numerous great grandchildren and great-great -grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012 at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Severt officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m on Friday prior to the services. Family and friends will meet at the mausoleum in the Hamblen Memory Gardens on Saturday, Aug.11, at 12 p.m. for an entombment service. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home.
