

He worked as an IT for Citizen Bank of Tazewell and Mahle of Morristown, was a former truck driver for Short Mountain and Amerigas, and served several years in Central Supply at Morristown Hamblen Hospital.
When not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and working on his old cars and trucks. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Adriel Baptist Church of Bean Station.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, the love of his life, Patricia "Pat" Ramsey Hatcher. Parents: Elsie Mae Delias Hatcher of Mooresburg and Robert "Bob" Hatcher of Athens and his great nephew: Collin Eugene Combs.
Freddy is survived by his sister: Rebecca "Becky" Hatcher Bowlin of Morristown. Nieces: Toshia (David Wayne) Combs of Jefferson City and Kayla Bowlin Smith of Morristown. Nephew: Joseph Bowlin of Morristown and two bonus nieces: Susan DuVall of Bean Station and Sharon (Issac) White of Rutledge.
Great niece and nephew: Lily Mae Smith and Jubal Myer Combs of Jefferson City. Bonus great niece: Amelia White. Brothers-in-law: Lynn (Carl) Ramsey of Bulls Gap and Donnie Bowlin of Mooresburg.
One very special aunt: Thelma Carpenter of Bean Station and was blessed with the best cousins: Phyllis (Robert) Wolfe, Judy Wolfe, Faye Carpenter, Steve Carpenter, Gail (Preston) Hatcher Moser, Lana (Bruce) Hatcher Whisman, Sarah (Gary) Hatcher Mlaker. Two of his closest friends: Doug Gibson of Persia and Greg Drinnon of Mooresburg.
A very special Thank you from his family to Lisa Cabbage Perrish at Ridgeview Terrace and Morristown Hamblen Hospital ER nurses, Sabrina and Michael, CCU nurse Michelle, as well as Amedisys Home Health and Hospice of Morristown.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home, funeral services will follow with Rev. Jimmy Hubbard officiating.
Graveside services will be in Persia Community Cemetery, Rogersville, at 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
