He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ealey Sr. and mother, Lillian Fletcher Ealey; a sister, Debbie Ealey, a brother, Gary Ealey, and special godparents, Hoye and Persivis Jenkns.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years; Teresa Ealey, a son, Chris Ealey (Bambe), a daughter, Kim Ealey Chaney (Clint); a special brother, Wayne Ealey (Brenda) of Greeneville, and Mickey Ealey (Lynn) also of Greeneville; grandchildren; Danyelle Ealey, James Vernon Ealey, and Tehya Gill.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.Monday, May 27, at the Stubblefield Funeral Home Chapel, with funeral services to follow at 8 PM. Rev. Micky Burton and Rev. Bobby Miller will officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:45 A.M. Tuesday, May 28 at Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 A.M. committal service. Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown is in charge of the arrangements.
