Jarrell B. Haun, age 83, of Whitesburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at his home. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 40 years of service. He was the 6th heir to the Haun Century Farm, where he raised beef cattle and was an avid beekeeper who sold his honey all over East Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bland Haun; brother: J.L. Haun and parents: Lewis Patrick and Gladys Haun.
Jarrell leaves behind his daughters: Shari (Ralph) Winburn and Sandy (Larry) Lakins. Granddaughters: Caitlin Winburn, Lucy Lakins and Ella Lakins. Brother: Fred (Dolores) Haun, and several nieces and nephews. Special friends: Dale Smith and Rick Shiflet, his right hand man.
The family would like to thank his niece, Angie Parrish for all of her help during this difficult time.
Visitation with his family will be Friday, June 24, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. George McCoy officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 25, 2022 in Catherine Nenney Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
Catherine Nenney Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 605 Silver City Road, Whitesburg, TN 37891.
