Joseph Edward Parrott, Jr., age 54, of Bulls Gap, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his mother, June Yount. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Claudia Parrott; father, Joseph Edward Parrott, Sr.; brothers, William Parrott, John Parrott; sister, Mary Brooks; step-children, Christy Smith, Claudia Smith, Jeanice Smith, James Smith; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown.
