Kylar Travis Andrew Lewis

In loving memory of Kylar Travis Andrew Lewis, who was born on June 25, 1992 to Robert F. Lewis and Delcie Lewis in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013. He grew up in Jasper, Texas and graduated in May 2010 from Jasper High School. He was raised by his mom and step-dad, Delcie and John E Lewis Jr., and dad and step-mom, Robert F. and Nanette Lewis. He joined the Navy immediately following high school graduation, where he served his country as a culinary specialist on a submarine. Upon his release from the Navy, he made his home with his grandparents, Joseph and Connie Smith in Bulls Gap, TN. He worked at Odella Industries in Morristown, TN. He was preceded in death by his step-mom, Nanette Lewis of TX; and his cousin, Cameron Weiss of NM.

He is survived by his mother and step-dad, Delcie and John E. Lewis Jr.; father and step-mom, Robert F. and Rhonda Lewis; sisters, Kelcie and Chanel Lewis; brothers, Michael and Corbin Lewis; grandparents, Connie and Joseph Smith of TN, Bob and Barbara Lewis of PA, Leslie and Billy Sue Reedy; special “Mamaw”, Elizabeth Harris; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout TN, TX, FL, and PA.

Kylar was known for his sense of humor and easy going spirit and his pure heart. He never met a stranger. He will be missed by many friends and family. We will celebrate Kylar’s life on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. at Whitesburg Baptist Church in Whitesburg, TN. Rev. Charlie Brewer will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the services.
