Mark Hill, age 46, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at his home, peacefully in his sleep. He was born to the late Mack “Moe” Hill and Betty Joe Cannon Hill on October 6, 1969. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Joe and Margaret Cannon; brother-in-law/dad, Randall Henson; sister-in-law, Sharon Hill; and stepsister, Yogi. His career consisted of working for Berkline and Trelleborg, but he spoke most fondly of his years as a server at Justin’s. He loved his family, friends, and pets. Mark’s fun, comedic nature could quickly fill a room with laughter and he will be missed by many. Mark and his wife, Cassandra, enjoyed attending local car shows and bike shows. When his health permitted, they were members of the Hamblen County Car Club. As a child, he attended Pentecostal Assembly with his mother. Once he and Cassandra were married, he became a member of Morningside Baptist Church with his family. Mark is survived by his loving wife and caregiver, Cassandra; sons, Trevor and Devin Hill and Tyler Buell; eight siblings, Donna Dearing, Barbara Henson, Shirley (Stan) Purkey, Mack Hill, Richard Hill, Katie Williams, George Hill, and Tina Raines; uncle, Charles (Willistene) Cannon; stepmother, Jessie Hill; four stepsisters, Delaine Hampton, Linda Perry, Ginger Jarnigan, and Donna Chance; mother of his sons, Misty Hill; and several nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 5 – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Ross Woody and Brother Richard Crayne officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. in Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service on Wednesday. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
