Marvin Lewis “Marty” Green, age 45, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at UT Medical Center. He was a member of Lakemoore Church of God. He was preceded in death by his children, Ashtin and Jacob Green; uncle, Robert Keith Green; and grandfather, Marvin “Pops” Green. Survivors include his sons, Austin and Dustin Green; daughter, Shelbie Kesterson; mother, Marian Green; and father, Larry Green of Elm City, NC; and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. with Brother Richard Crayne officiating. Family and friends will meet on Thursday at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. to go in procession to Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
