Michael Gene Edwards

He was an amazing son, brother, husband and grandfather. God blessed him with an uncanny sense of humor, which made everyone smile. He was a devoted Nascar, football and Sponge Bob fan. But, he most enjoyed being at the lake, where he tried to spend as much time as possibly, making many friends.

Preceding him in death are his father: William Brantley Edwards, son: Michael O. Edwards and his grandmother: Helen Fern Smith.

Michael is survived by his mother: Shirley Edwards, companion of 24 years and love of his life: Jeannie Gulley; children: Marla D. Edwards, Josh Pridmore, Melissa (Will) Lane and Stephanie Rochester. Sisters: Frances (Steve) Lamb, Cheryl Lynn Inman, Edie (Darryle) Walker and brother: William R. Edwards. Grandchildren: Kahlie and Kinsley Edwards, Olivia and Nevaeh Rochester, Madison Gulley and Jade Hurst; great grandson: Grayson Gulley. Special friends, along with his boat dock friends, James Manis, David and Georgia Miller and Ricky Hutton.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 14, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services at 7:00 PM with Pastor Darryle Walker and Pastor Marty Shelton officiating. Family and friends will gather at Clemmons Cemetery, Thornhill, TN on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM for graveside services.
