He was a retired cableman for AT&T, an Air Force Veteran and a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church.
Preceding him in death were his father: Ronald William Gallagher.
Michael is survived by his mother: Anna Faye Gallagher; daughter and son-in-law: Susan and Richard Phillips of Bean Station; grandchildren: Jeremiah McMurray, Jasiah McMurray, Kali Phillips. Amber Robinson and Alexander Phillips and great granddaughter: Kiara Robinson. Sister: Kathy Gallagher and brothers and sister's-in-law: Timothy and Marie Gallagher and John and Karen Gallagher.
Gathering of friends will be Saturday, Aug. 26 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Stubblefield Funeral Home with a celebration of life service to follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Gordon Smith officiating.
