

RUBY PAULINE (McCOY CROCKER) HATCHER age 81, passed away on September 13, 2014. She was born on March 10, 1933 in Mohawk, TN to Charles and Mary McCoy. Ruby enjoyed bowling, flea marketing, NASCAR, her children and grandchildren. She was member of Mountain Valley Baptist Church. As a young woman she sang on the radio for her church. She worked at Admiral Corp and retired from Warner Electric Corp in IL. She moved back to TN in 2002.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Hatcher; parents; 1 great granddaughter and half-brother, J.C. McCoy.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy (William) Vanetten of WI, Norma (Troy) Effler of Rogersville; son, Roger (Linda) Crocker of IL; grandchildren, Lisa Farel, Joseph Horner, Janie (Greg) Rice, David Hamlin, Shawna (Jeff) Ramlow, Derek (Nakita Benjamin) Crocker and Jaimie Crocker; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; sisters, Louise (Rev. Bergen) Tayler of Greeneville, Norma Dominguez of Mohawk, Betty Hatcher of Morristown, Arkie (Tom) Bennett of KY and Bonnie (Bruce) Cheek of Ky.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 17 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Buck Marshall and Rev. George McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in McCullough Cemetery in Bulls Gap. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrnagements.
