WILMA K. BARKER, age 77 of Newport, formerly of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was retired from BASF. She was preceded in death by her parents, TC and Estae Barker; sisters, Dot Armitage, Louise Lyle and Imogene Roberts; brother, TG Barker and grandson, Seth Goan. She is survived by her son, Randall Goan and wife Shaunna Goan; granddaughter, Hannah Goan; grandson, Denver Goan; brother, David Barker several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Carrell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 14 in Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 1100 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to say a special Thank you to Smokey Mountain Hospice for their Love and Care given to their mother in their time of need.
