Born August 31, 1934 in Yakima, Washington. Passed away November 18, 2021.
Jeri was the daughter of Ruth and Ernie Boyd. Shortly after Jeri was born they moved to Mineral, WA where Jeri and her sister Dorothy were raised and went to school. Jeri was a graduate of Morton High School, class of 1952, where she was head majorette and played basketball.
On August 9, 1952, Jeri met the love of her life, Keith Parker. They were married 13 days later. Keith and Jeri were married for almost 69 years. They had 4 children: Connie Collins, Pamela Bell, Ricky Parker, and Mark Parker (Connie). They had 9 grandchildren Tara Collins (Jason), Tracy Collins (Paula), Tyron Gubser (Michelle), Chad Parker (Diana), Cory Gubser (Carly), Sadie Parker, Cari Schleining (Jakob), Megan Parker (Jason), and Camron Bell (Mackynzi); 17 great-grandchildren: Dillon, Gage, Kylie, Alyssa (Cameron), Savanah, Kyle, Nancy Anne, Kris, Annalise, Logan, Mia, Emily, Zachary, Faith, Jake, Jaxson, Raeyah Mae, and Blake; and 4 great-great-grandchildren to Eliza Ray, Brooklyn, Addilyn, and Brantley.
Jeri worked for many years as a carhop and waitress. She also worked at Wilcox Farm as an egg processor, even though Jeri hated and was afraid of birds and feathers. At one time, Jeri helped Keith with his trap lines. Jeri would sew the beaver pelts on big hoops so Keith could stretch and dry them for market. She was also a grocery clerk at the Elbe store. And Jeri was the only Avon lady to deliver products to her customers on a Honda trail bike. She was an avid Eagle member for years, and held several offices. Jeri and Keith were also long-time apartment managers.
Jeri is proceeded in death by her father, Ernie Boyd; her mother, Ruth Boyd; her husband, Keith Parker; her son-in-law, Ray Collins; her daughter-in-law, Charla Parker; and grandson-in-law, Damon Bridenbaker.
